Drawing Mary

Our work starts with hand drawing a picture from the photo sent.  I always try to capture the spirit of the subject.  I usually pick a few songs to listen to while I draw that may put me in mind of their personality.  I let the music seep into my mind and soul as it helps guide my hands. This piece is called Stoptime Rag by Scott Joplin written in 1910.  I feel it captured a part of my grandaughter's soul.
